peace
On August 10, 2019, my 23 year-old daughter, Elyse, deliberately ended her life, shattering the hearts of all who loved her and still love her. While we can only hope she found the Elysian Peace she sought, peace remained elusive for those of us she left behind. After a suicide, loved ones often struggle, as we did, to understand it. A Psychological Autopsy Investigation (PAI) is the best method for gathering the information necessary to answer the questions commonly asked by loved ones after a suicide. For those struggling to find peace in the wake of a suicide loss, we offer American Association of Suicidology certified PAIs, to provide answers and understanding, and hopefully, illumination of a path to peace after loss. For more information about who we are and what we offer, see above Menu |
Dying is natural, an inevitable consequence of living; but some loved ones approach it more deliberately.
If you, or someone you know, is struggling with suicidal thoughts, or any mental health crisis, call or text 988; or chat at 988lifeline.org.
